Open Tournament

Still Waters Bass Club will be hosting its first annual open bass tournament on Possum Kingdom Lake on Saturday April 12, 2025, at the Bug Beach Recreational and ramp area. The tournament will be benefiting Pink Fishing, Inc. with 100% of all entry fees going to Pink Fishing, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization. Pink Fishing got its beginnings in 2007, because of the long-term vision of combining the love for fishing with a desire to give back to the community. Pink Fishing is a team of women and men across the United States dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and for helping support men and women financially who are in active breast cancer treatment.

SWBC Open tournament is an individual entry tournament with two divisions: An adult division and a youth division (17 and younger.) The individual entry fee for the Adult Division is $75 which includes Big Bass; Youth Division is $30 which also includes Big Bass. Individuals may enter the tournament beginning March 1st either by mail (until Thursday April 10th) or online until Wednesday April 9th. After that individuals may register at the tournament headquarters (Bug Beach Ramp) in person on Friday April 11th between 5 to 7:00 p.m. or in person the morning of the tournament (April 12th) at the ramp between 5:00 to 6:15 am. All mail-in entries must be received by SWBC by Thursday, April 10, 2025. Online registration also must be completed and received by Wednesday, April 9, 2025. An official entry form with signed waiver and release along with a check, cash, or online payment must be submitted and received before one is allowed to fish in the tournament.
