Meetings are held once a month at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church; 701 Pioneer Drive; Abilene, Texas; on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. One may join at a monthly club meeting, at any club tournament fishing site on the day of the tournament, or come by Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and see Jeris Duncan, the church activities director. The cost of joining Still Waters Bass Club is $20 per year. The yearly dues includes membership for one's immediate family and a Still Waters Bass Club fishing hat. Membership may fish both the Calcutta and stringer place finishers in any club tournament. Guests of club members may fish only the Calcutta competition.

The club's primary focus is to provide competitive tournament bass fishing and bass fishing information in a Christian family atmosphere and fellowship. Club membership includes people of many different denominations of faith.
