Location: Callahan County near Baird

Fishing cover/structure: American lotus (lily pads) are abundant in the upper end. Rocky structure scattered with brush and alligator weed is most common in the lower end.

44 acres
Water clarity: 6 to 18 inches and brown colored
Comments: There is no improved boat ramp, but launching of small boats is possible. This lake lends itself well to float tube fishing and shore fishing. There is only one public access point from State Hwy. 283, and a gate must be opened to access the lake. The road to the lake is rough and should not be used after a heavy rain. The lake supports minimal sport fish populations. There are plans to improve access and sport fish populations.
